Adult Acne Sufferer – Am I Alone?

I am 30 years old. My older brother and younger brother were the ones that really suffered bad from acne on their face, neck, shoulders while growing up as teenagers. I mean real bad, the kind that if they slept on their face, they would bleed, and stain the pillow sheet so bad it had to be thrown out.

I was the “lucky” one, I was the normal one, only got a few pimples on my face. No big deal, and some on my shoulders once in awhile. Acne on the back to me, was much better than that of my brothers.

My brother’s both outgrew their acne, but now have major scars on their face, which is now mostly invisible due to shadowing, and facial hair.

As for me, I got worse, I would get more and more acne on my face, and my back got and more acne too. Now, I have acne all the time, face, neck, back shoulders, arms and my chest. Not to mention the fact that I suffer from dry peeling skin on my back that adds to the situation.

I was even to embarrassed to tell my Dr. So here I am. I need to feel that I am not alone in this.
